#TechNews: Google Drive finally offers dark mode

In a long-standing tradition of Google’s laggard launching of dark theme, such as with YouTube Studio and Google Search, finally Google Drive gets dark mode:

Key updates:

  • Google Drive now has a dark mode on the web.
  • Toggle between light and dark modes by going to Drive Settings > Appearance.
  • The dark mode doesn’t extend to Docs, Sheets and Slides.
  • Gmail and Calendar are yet to get dark mode.
