The Zip Zap Circus School performed at the V&A Waterfront. A great opportunity to get a taster of their newest production coming to Cape Town in April.

Before the spectacle started they had a little competition for four children to learn and perform some juggling. A lovely start to a great show.

Then the energy picked up some notches, as the show began with a dance, demonstrating the infusion of African culture into this circus extravaganza.

The creativity of choreography and costumes made it easy to get engulfed in the action when the Lunatricks took to the stage.

Part of the excitement steams from the uplifting music always accompanied by a little boogie throughout the act. And a fun element of surprise. How often do you see someone standing on the head of someone else?

Even if you’ve seen great circus shows before, nothing prepares you for this:

Like a blast of positive energy you will be swept away into the fun and happiness of these extraordinary performers. They clearly enjoy what they’re doing with their passion and good vibes flowing to and capturing the audience.

You will laugh out loud at the slapstick jokes and stare in awe at the head-spinning stunts. And when you think it can’t get any better, the next incredible act will blow your mind.

But no photo or video can recreate the fantastic atmosphere that allows you a true break from everyday hassles and completely submerge in the world of circus.

You just got to see for yourself!

Book tickets for upcoming productions by the Zip Zap Circus School, you don’t want to miss out on this blessing of non-stop feel-good entertainment: Zip Zap Circus on Quicket.
